Design a case for the Heltec V3 that can hold a battery and a CardKB keyboard
Meshtastic! The Heltec V3 is a ESP32 development board that is very commonly used as a Meshtastic node. That is what I plan on using this for. Meshtastic is a mesh network that uses LoRa to send messages between nodes. You can find out more here.
What I'm thinking to do is to have the main case be separate from the keyboard, so that it can be used with or without. The keyboard will be slid over the front of the case, acting as a cover for the screen. Alternatively, a think cover could be used if i dont feel like bringing the keyboard.
Most measurements are done, and the basic shape is drawn out for the main case. I've started making the model in Solidworks. I just have to get used to the program again, it's been a few years.
The bottom part of the case is fully moddled! All thats left on it is testing it out and adding fillets to the corners. I'll be moving on to the lid next.
